    Wedding day flowers

Wedding day decorations can be stressful and tedious to pull together because they set the style and mood for whatever type of wedding that you choose.  One of the key factors that you need to consider when it comes to decorations however is flowers, because mismatched colours and wilting flowers can ruin the overall mood of your wedding.  Thus, it is very vital that you schedule for fresh flowers that will stay fresh and lively throughout the entire day.

First of all, you will need to decide who your florist for the wedding is going to be.  You can do this first by shopping around by reputation, and then by stopping by and making a few inquiries.  Among the factors that you need to check out is if they store their flowers near your wedding venue so that they stay fresh until arrive and if they are willing to work with you on flower ideas.  If the florist is not willing to work with you on flower arrangements then it is time to move on.

After you choose your florist, you need to sit down and actually discuss your wedding budget because exquisite flowers can actually cost much more than most people think until they start looking at prices.

Instead of planning for a wedding you cannot afford and being forced to start over, take an honest look at how many flowers you will need for your wedding venue, your working budget for flowers, and then ask the florist for your options so that everything is decorated but without exceeding your budget.

Finally, when it gets closer to the big day you will want to keep a few tricks under your belt to keep the flowers fresh.  For example, sprinkling flowers with water will help the petals stay and smell fresh as well as cutting the flower stems and placing them in water with aspirin.
